Selecting a fall absorbing surface
All playgrounds should have fall absorbing surfaces. The number one reason for accident's
caused on playgrounds are falls from the playground. There are many types of fall absorbing
surfaces including:
- Wood Mulch
- Sand
- Pea Gravel
- Rubber Tiles
- Poured in place flooring
Wood mulch, sand and gravel should be purchased locally. There are critical height requirements for various surfacing materials. Please call for more information.nbsp;

Poured in place surfacing is a seamless, porous and low-maintenance flooring.
It is designed on top of a cement surface. Prices vary by region. It is environmentally friendly and
meets ASTM requirements. Please call for a quote.
Resilient playground tiles
This product is designed to go on top of any surface. It complies with US Consumer Products Safety Commission and
ASTM requirements. This maintenance-free tile will pay for themselves in just a few years, eliminating
replacing other types of lose surfacing. Water drains through it. This is the ideal, low-maintenance product.
It comes in five color tops or black, gray or red.
